Electrofusion coupler with built-in excess flow valve, which will simultaneously trip and shut-off gas should gas flow exceed limits. Once a fault has been rectified, a small bleed-by flow will enable the service, allowing pressure to equalise with the main, allowing the unit to automatically reset for normal operation without intervention.
